I'm seeking an individual to work on a horse barn taking care of the horses and general maintenance as required. You will be working independently and by yourself. Self motivation is essential.
Horse Care Duties: feeding (am/pm), turn outs, must be comfortable handling stallions, washing, braiding, cleaning stalls, Vet visits, picking up feed and round bales. Working & riding with horses is not required, but a BIG plus.
General Maintenance: maintain landscape all-around, fix any broken water pipe, painting pipe, fence, & stalls, new small projects as needed. Running errands is a MUST and having a valid driving license is required.
This position is being offered to anyone who wants and has experience working with horses.
I'm also open on offering this position to someone who lives nearby as a part-time job as an extra income, 10 hours per week, Mon-Sun with extra hours if needed on Saturdays or Sundays.
Pay will be based on experience from $10.00 - $20.00 per hour. Work hours are Mon-Sat 9 am - 5 pm and Sunday optional.
