3D printing is one of the coolest new technologies to come out in the last decade, but it’s hard to know where to start. Look no further! 3d Printers are an incredibly cool piece of technology that is becoming more and more available. MakerSpace Charlotte wants to help you get in on the ground floor. During this weekly class, we will learn about the kinds of 3D printers available on the market, how they run, what they can and can’t do, and most importantly, troubleshooting. We will learn about programs called Slicers which will help your 3d dreams come to life. At the end of this 2-hour class, you will have all the tools to start 3d printing whatever you can think of. To ensure the maintenance of our machines, either this class or a proficiency test is mandatory to use the onsite printers. Guests are asked to be on time for events. MakerSpace Charlotte dues-paying members can check their email for a monthly Access Code to unlock member discounts on Eventbrite during checkout. Face coverings are required. Masks must cover the nose and mouth, as mandated in NC. Hand sanitizer and bathrooms are available for hand washing during the event.
