Press release from the Town of Islip: April 22, 2021 Islip High School and Middle School students were recently recognized by Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter, for participating in the American Legion Virtual Walk-A-Thon. The students raised more than $1,000 for the Rusy Bohm Post 411 Auxiliary in Islip. The monies will be distributed among various Veterans programs. Joining the Supervisor are Auxiliary President, Paulette DeCrescenzo; Vice President Joanne Johnson; and school coordinator, Mrs. Renee Clock, Islip High School Business Department.
