Summary The Production Lead produces the highest quality and consistent products in the industry by performing all duties meticulously. Leads both kitchen and packaging production and operations when needed. Ability to open and/or close production shifts and assists with staff training. A successful candidate will have experience and enjoy a fast-paced, growing company, in an ever-changing industry. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. -Prep, mix, cook, produce, pour, deposit, pull, and store all facility consumables and products. -Accurately prepare ingredients, work stations and equipment for production -Maintain appropriate temperatures and timing required for each product recipe. -Properly mix all ingredients to ensure adequate homogenization. -Start and stop pots on time to stay on quota and on schedule. -Check depositor settings between each pot and adjust as needed for correct depositing. -Correctly infuse by thoroughly scraping, turning, lifting and rotating for the appropriate time -Quickly and efficiently separate products from their molds and sort in bins for production -Accurately read, record and communicate all kitchen data, counts, measurements and weights. -Direct and lead employees to accomplish daily tasks -Perform opening and closing duties. Ensure proper storage of all facility consumables and products. -Store food products in compliance with safety practices. -Check depositor settings, temperatures, weights, ingredient prep, and production flow -Assure product consistency. -Maintain high quality standards with weights, appearance of product and flavor profile. -Perform visual quality inspections on products, minimize waste where possible. -Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company -Makes recommendations to management regarding personnel evaluation and training of the kitchen team. -Ensure a safe working environment. -Review and communicate daily on all safety related topics of discussion. -Quality control -Products and packaging should be handled with care, attention to detail and with the highest standard of cleanliness and accuracy. -Packaging product inventory -Counting, sorting, labeling, assembling, taping, boxing, and packing inventory for sales Reach production quotas by maintaining a quick, effective pace as a team as well as solo -Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area for yourself and other employees -Clean production area after every shift -Sanitize all surfaces Perform other related duties and tasks when requested by management -Meet daily, weekly and monthly team and personal quota goals -Perform team and individual tasks as assigned while maintaining an efficient production pace and speed -Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Qualifications -To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. -High School Diploma or GED. -At least 1 year of directly related experience and/or training in a food packaging, production, or kitchen environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of lead experience. -Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ability to pass a background check and obtain a Marijuana Agent Card -Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written. -Occasional travel required to other Wyld locations, events, expos, supplier evaluations, and fellow manufacturing facilities.
