MILFORD, CT — A woman driving near Route 15 Tuesday afternoon saw a young child playing dangerously close to the busy highway and no one around him.
The woman stopped, went into KinderCare and informed them the child was alone and then workers raced after the child to bring him back to safety, WTNH News 8 reports. The woman said the staff had no idea the child was missing, according to News 8.
KinderCare sent a message to News 8 stating that they have taken immediate steps to ensure this can never happen again and have secured all of their windows and are also working with DCF.
