Be compensated for $50 for participating in an 1.5 hour long research study at Ellington Airport.
The Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) and the Crash Safety Research Center (CSRC) are conducting a research project about markings and lights that can be used to make construction and other work vehicles easier to see when they are on the road. As part of this effort, we are currently recruiting up to 100 individuals to participate in a closed-course study at the Ellington Airport. Participants will drive a CSRC-owned vehicle to a designated location on the closed course and will answer some questions about vehicle markings or lights that they see during the study session. To reduce the infection risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, additional protections will be in place, including face masks for all participants and research staff, social distancing during the study session, and extra cleaning of the study space and equipment. The session will take approximately 2 hours to complete.
