Need Carpenter w/ experience on Pella Sliding doors

Description

We have an 18-year old Pella sliding door with an integral metal clad frame and sill (out of warranty). The wooden portion within the sill at the bottom of the door where the fixed and sliding panels meet has rotted out. The rotted section supports a retractable, roll-up, screen. There doesn’t appear to be any water entry into the house, just into the sill channel (see photos). Pella’s solution is to replace the entire door which is costly and disruptive. We are looking instead for a carpenter who can cut out the rotted section and replace it with a new piece of wood.
