RESPONSIBILITIES • Inspect and prepare equipment and materials for the day • Operate and trucks and equipment, such as fertilizer spreader, liquid sprayer, aerator and other landscape equipment in a safe manner • Apply granular and liquid products (most natural or organic, a small amount of conventional) • Apply product according to specifications on label • Apply compost topdressing and grass seed to lawns • Strive to perform work within budgeted time and materials allowance • Communicate proactively and effectively with clients and teammates • Understands and enforces all company policies and procedures • Record time, materials, project related information in electronic and paper systems • Demonstration of leadership, teamwork, attention to detail and organizational skills • Understanding of landscape maintenance methods and techniques, tools and equipment • Knowledge of plant material, including annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees and turf • Assist with other activities including, but not limited to mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, weeding, pruning, mulching, planting and watering REQUIREMENTS • 1 year experience preferred but not required • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License is required • High school diploma or GED is preferred • Horticulture degree a bonus • Valid Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator 3.0 license required (must obtain within 90 days of hire) OTHER DETAILS • Start Date: Immediately • Full-time working hours vary from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, with overtime potential and occasional weekends • Part-time, flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are available for qualified candidates • Pay rates commensurate with experience • Forward resume and cover letter via e-mail Why work for The Green Team?
