We are a Facility Services Company with numerous clients throughout South Florida. We seek an EXPERIENCED HANDYMAN/MAINTENANCE TECH to serve our clients. PART-TIME/ON-CALL WORK. GOOD PAY + BENEFITS + ADVANCEMENT. MAY LEAD TO FULL TIME. GREAT AS EXTRA WORK JOBS. WE PAY FOR MATERIALS. PAY IS BY THE HOUR, AVERAGES 10 TO 20 HOURS A WEEK. Must have your own work transportation (truck or van), your own general and standard power tools and able to receive and print work orders and have experience in the typical listed service calls below. BEST FIT for someone looking to ADD to their existing work or who wants some Part-Time On Call work. May turn into regular full time. Handle our client's service calls for repairs. Pay is Direct Deposit into your bank every 2 weeks. Company pays for supplies and materials. Company benefits available. Service Calls types include: - Fixing doors, cabinets, hinges, handles, simple woodwork, etc. - Fixing dental equipment and supply lines. - Fixing basic plumbing like clogs, flappers, flushing mechanisms, toilets, sinks, drains, faucets, filters, etc. - Basic electrical like changing lights, ballasts, fixtures switches, outlets, switches and troubleshooting, etc. - Patching and fixing drywall, installing backing, prep and painting. - Fix minor flooring issues with carpeting, tile, VCT, transitions, etc. - General repairs and labor duties, hanging frames, moving furniture, etc. We seek a Team Player who can work independently. We hire reliable, customer service-focused employees who are knowledgeable and skilled in general Handyman work, experienced in many areas of handyman repairs. Requirements: - MUST be able to speak understandable and communicative English AND Spanish. - Must have handyman experience, knowledge, skill and ability to perform a variety of general maintenance tasks. - High School degree or experience equivalent and 1 year of experience in handyman/maintenance tech work. - Candidates must be legally to work in the US and be over 21 years of age. - Candidates must have a clean and valid driver's license and clean background. - Service calls are typically between 8AM and 5PM. Compensation: Our Company offers good wages, benefits and opportunities to include: - Starting hourly wage of $22.00 Per Hour PLUS $3.00 Per Hour for Gas/Car Use = $25.00 Per Hr. - Increase after 90 days to $26.00 Per Hour PLUS $3.00 Per Hour for Gas/Car Use = $29.00 Per Hr. - INCREASES BASED ON PERFORMANCE, WORK PRODUCT, EXPERIENCE AND RELIABILITY. - Paid Vacations after 1 year of continuous employment. - Company 401K Retirement Plan w/company contribution. - Free uniforms shirts. - Dental and Vision insurance with minimal co-pay. - Advancement opportunities. - Employee discount benefits.
