We are looking to have a dedicated individual join our Operations team to expedite equipment deliveries to job sites. This is an important aspect of our services and the job provides a variety of responsibilities. We are offering a $1000 sign on bonus to the successful candidate who meets the criteria. You must live with a 30 minute commute to our Everett office due to last minute emergency deliveries. POSITION OVERVIEW Perform tasks involving maintaining, staging, and delivery of equipment needed for projects. Maintain and manage the warehouse and equipment in an organized, clean-repair, and safe manner. Assist General Manager with special projects to deliver excellent customer service. •Deliver and assist with work zone set-up per guidance of TCP, TCS, or manager. Record all deliveries for billing purposes. •Repair and maintain traffic control equipment. •Assemble equipment and maintain proper inventory of traffic control signs, stands, barrels, cones, and paddles. •Maintain warehouse: properly organize and store equipment, remove burnable materials to recycle weekly, put recycle out weekly on designated day. •Load trucks as needed for projects •Maintain a consistent and unrelenting focus on safety throughout all job functions. •Lift, carry, place and assemble traffic control signs in the proper order to manage work zone traffic. Lifting 10 lbs. continuously throughout the day. •Lift, carry, and place traffic cones, warning signs, and stands to ensure the safety of the work zone. Lifting may be up to 40 lbs. occasionally and up to 50 lbs. seldom. •Follow Company and state guidelines for effective, safe and well-managed work space. •Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers. This includes on-time arrival, excellent communication skills, and teamwork. •Communicate with Dispatch on schedule in case of emergencies. •Communicate with Dispatch clear delivery locations of staged equipment for scheduled jobs. •Relieve Flaggers as needed for breaks •Other duties not listed may apply. Work Settings/Description of Environmental Hazard Encountered: Highways, city and county roads. Working around moving vehicles on roadways and around moving heavy equipment at road construction site. Essential Functions: Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved to repair and maintain equipment. Ability to operate moving vehicles. Competencies Required to Perform Job: Employees must have a valid Flagger Certification card issued in the state of Washington, Oregon or Idaho (we provide the certification at no cost). Valid driver license (preferably an enhanced drivers license). Clean driving record. Physical Requirements of Job Tasks: General Lift/Carry Expectations: Constantly 10 - 45 lbs. maximum. Standing: Position may require standing for extended periods at a time. Sitting: Sitting for extended periods in vehicles when moving from one location to another. Lifting/Carrying: Lift/carry traffic control equipment. Set-up and take down traffic control equipment. Stooping/Bending: Occasional stooping/bending when putting down and picking up equipment.
