Small boutique inn located in Capitol Hill area looking for reliable full time housekeeper Compensation: $20/hour Employment type: full-time Benefit plans may be available RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintains guestrooms by cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing. - Must be able to bend, lift, be on feet for long periods of time, push and pull vacuum/cart, make beds, and clean bathrooms (shower, vanity, mirrors, and floors) - Make beds by removing and replacing sheets and pillowcases. - Remove miscellaneous debris and remove trash. - Refresh bathrooms by cleaning shower, toilet, and sinks; removing used towels and bathmats; replacing bath linens. - Clean floors by washing and vacuuming floors. - Maintain furnishings by dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning and polishing glass surfaces. Etc... Specific Job Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities: Physical mobility and stamina required- move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 100 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Ability to follow instruction, Detail-oriented, Professional attitude is required, Ability to work independently. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
