WAREHOUSE/ DELIVERY DRIVER Functions • Assists Purchasing Agent in receiving stock and nonstock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct. • Cleans/Organizes warehouse for the purpose of maintaining a safe and efficient work area. • Drives vehicles (e.g. truck, van) for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated sites. • Loads and unloads delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport. • Maintains delivery vehicle (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicle. • Participates in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses. To insure basic everyday parts are always on hand. • Performs all functions within the scope of the warehouse for the purpose of providing warehousing operations. • Prepares orders by pulling from stock for the purpose of meeting delivery requirements. • Assists in returns to vendors for credit/restocking to avoid having stagnant or dead inventory parts on hand. • Works e-bay/offerup/letgo type service to move unreturnable items for the purpose of avoiding stagnant or dead inventory parts on hand. • Fill-in for Purchasing agent when he is out of office, sick or on vacation Job Requirements: • Physical: Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend over and lift up to 100 lbs. Required body movements will include turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending, twisting and flexing the back, legs, arms, wrists and fingers. Sight requirements include the ability to visually distinguish subtle differences in wire colors. The sense of hearing and the full power of speech are required for communication and safety. • Mental: Must be able to comprehend wiring requirements and techniques. Must follow directions well and have a good memory. • Testing: Must pass a background check (no criminal record/no felonies) and drug screening. • Valid drivers license and insurable driving record Benefits: 401k, Health, PTO
