Classic soul / Motown / R&B cover band in search of a new trumpet player. We are a ten piece band of experienced musicians in our twenties and thirties. We do Otis Redding, Etta James, Eddie Floyd, Clarence Carter, Smokey Robinson, etc., with occasional other songs thrown in for fun or when requested by a client. We play private weddings and private events that pay $200-400 each, as well as some public shows for fun and as "paid rehearsals". Time commitment is around two rehearsals per month in Fremont. Of course you'll need to familiarize yourself with all the material. We have charts for most of the current song list (around 100 songs), though part of the job is also creating charts for new songs as we add them. I generally don't allow charts on stage though I can make an exception for your first few gigs.
