Driver Asleep In Car Parked On Sidewalk Faces DUI Charge: Cops

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A 23-year-old Round Lake Park woman faces a driving under the influence charge after officers found her asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle parked on the sidewalk in Libertyville this past week, police said. Police were called to the gas station after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle that had been parked in the parking lot at the Shell for a long time. The vehicle then left and came to a stop on Butterfield Road, according to the Libertyville Police Department report. Park Avenue in Libertyville, when they arrived at about 4:40 a.m., according to a police report. Nugent was unresponsive, but officers were able to wake her up, police said.
