Pinnacle Landscapes Full Job Description FOREMAN Job Summary We pride ourselves on creating the best landscapes and outdoor living spaces for our clients using designs from our in-house Landscape Architect and some of the best Landscape Architects that Asheville has to offer. You will have the opportunity to use your creativity as you assist in bringing landscape designs to life building hardscapes, water features, plantings and (as we like to say it putting the icing on the cake) mulch/sod. Foster team unity working together building new landscapes, outdoor living spaces and interacting with the clients utilizing your excellent customer service skills to bring their vision to life. Position Summary The crew leader is responsible for directly supervising a crew while on the job, ensuring the crew works safely and efficiently, while delivering quality jobs on time. This position is responsible for developing and training crew members and addressing and resolving customer issues. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. Job Responsibilities • Prioritize projects, assign work tasks to crew members, procure required materials, and maintain written or electronic records of projects. • Lead crew and participate in performing a wide variety of construction work such as paver driveways, patios, and walkways. • Lead crew and participate in performing a wide variety of construction work such as flagstone installation on both a sand base and mortared to concrete base. • Lead crew and participate in performing a wide variety of construction work such as concrete placement, and finishing. • Lead crew and participate in performing a wide variety of construction work such as segmental retaining walls, and boulder walls. • Lead crew and participate in performing a wide variety of construction work such as planting trees, shrubs, and perennials. • Operate all equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks such as track-hoe, and skid-steer. • Preform equipment repair, and maintenance duties. • Assist with administrative duties. • Participates in stand-by status during snow events. Skills & Abilities Qualifications: • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, bilingual in Spanish highly preferred. • Ability to train others and exercise leadership skills. • Demonstrates dependability; consistently at work and on time, responds to management direction and commits to the required hours for job completion that will very based on weather/season. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to solve conflict while keeping emotions under control. • Ability to plan, organize, and direct a team in a manner that uses time efficiently. • Has the aptitude to identify and act on opportunities to help and support work efforts of the team. • Can safely operate and MAINTAIN all equipment used for landscape design-build. • Valid State Driver’s License with clean record.
