You need a bassist, and I'm available and eager to help. Whether it's standup bass or the electrified bass guitar, I'm ready to play! I love subbing, but I wouldn't turn down a regular gig if offered one. My specialized area of expertise is old American roots such as Blues & Jazz, Country & Bluegrass. I love to swing. So gimme all your jump blues, hot jazz & western swing. But I'm also quite happy to lay down a sweet foundation for your ballads or 2-beats. Do I slap? Why yes I do. I also love to play old R&B, and I've worked with a zydeco band since 2014. If y'all are playing a Cajun restaurant, I might be willing to play for just some jambalaya... haha Yum! Recording studios are quite familiar places for me, and I have lots of recording/production experience. My gear is appropriate for the genres listed above - compact for tight spaces, but powerful enough for outdoor gigs. I have reliable transportation and I'm fine to travel.
