Description
I have a 9 week old male puppy that needs to be rehomed due to the fact that he was attacked by my other dog and I am really scared for his safety. My dog outweighs him by at least 45lbs and even though I keep them separated I fear that she will attack him again if he annoys her.
Beau is doing great with crate training and potty training. He goes in his crate a few times a day for me to let our other dog out to exercise and play and he naps and sleeps in there with the door closed. He is just starting to get to the point now where I have him on a schedule and if he is in his crate he will alert me to let me know he needs to go outside rather than finding a spot to relieve himself in our house.
He is 12 lbs and will get to be somewhere between 40-65 depending on his lineage- his morher was a lab and father unknown. My guess is there’s a lot of pit in him.
He would do VERY well as a working service dog or therapy animal. Beau is sweet, docile, obedient, and loving. He is excellent with children. I have 2 autistic kids age 4 and 7 and from the moment Beau came into our house he loved my son and stays by his side all day. He is not food, toy, or resource aggressive and has not shown his teeth or tried to nip my kids if they’re being loud and crazy.
One of the pictures shows his injury on his from when my dog attacked him. His wound was glued shut by the vet and thats what that white spot on his head is. When he came to live with me he had other wounds from previous attacks, fleas, and worms. He is now parasite free as of 2 days ago.
I am asking a rehoming fee that will cover some of the expenses I’ve put in for him including medicines, a crate, bed, unopened full bag of his food, an unopened box of flea and tick meds, treats and toys.
