DAKOTA COUNTY, MN— 16 schools in Dakota County have reported recent outbreaks of COVID-19, the Minnesota Department of Health reported Thursday. These schools all recently reported at least five cases of COVID-19. St. Thomas Academy in Mendota HeightsRed Pine Elementary School in EaganEagan High School, EaganRosemount Elementary in RosemountRosemount Middle School in RosemountRosemount Senior High School in RosemountApple Valley Senior High in Apple ValleyFarmington High School in FarmingtonRiverview Elementary in FarmingtonAll Saints School in LakevilleCentury Middle School in LakevilleLakeville North High School in LakevilleLakeville South High SchoolHenry Sibley High School in West Saint PaulHastings Middle School in HastingsHastings High School in Hastings Eagan Senior High School, Century Middle School, Lakeville North High School, Lakeville South High School and Hastings Middle School are the most recent adds to the list. No schools have been removed since last week's report. In order to be added to the Minnesota Department of Health's list, a school must report at least five cases of a student or staff member being inside the building while infectious and within the two-week reporting period, the department said. If a school goes 28 days with no new cases, they are removed from the list, the department said.The list is updated every Thursday, the department said. You can read the full report here.
