ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Police released photos Wednesday from a bank robbery that happened earlier this month in Arlington Heights.
At around 3:28 p.m., April 7, a man entered the Jewel-based TCF Bank branch in the 1800 block of S. Arlington Heights Road, according to Special Agent Siobhan Johnson, public affairs officer for the FBI's Chicago Division.
A surveillance photo of the man from behind is shown. (FBI) The suspect verbally demanded money from a teller and implied that they had a weapon, Johnson told Patch. The man was described as white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a thin build, in his late 30s to early 40s, wearing a black-and-white baseball cap with writing, a dark-colored facial covering, a long, green-sleeved t-shirt with writing on the back, khaki cargo shorts, gray socks and black gym shoes. Police said the man fled by car.
