Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 04/11/2021 211011470 Preliminary information:  On April 11, 2021 at around 6:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to a person shot call at 192 Peachtree St SW.  Upon arrival, officers located a male with gunshot wounds alert, conscious and breathing.  He was transported to the hospital for further medical treatment.  Preliminary investigation revealed the shooting took place at 192 Pryor St SW when a male suspect attempted to rob the victim.  After the robbery attempt, the suspect shot the victim before fleeing the scene on foot.  Investigators were notified and will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.  The investigation continues.    Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
