Description
Hi Everyone.
My name is Mike and I'm conducting a research project trying to better understand the worries and concerns, hopes and fears, dreams and aspirations, of 'everyday Americans'.
I'm from the Southwest myself, but have lived all over the US, and proudly served in the Navy and also worked in the tech industry.
Despite feeling like I've got a good pulse on the country, I suspect I might be missing some things.
So, I'm interested in conducting interviews (around an hour) with Americans across the country to learn more about what's on people's minds, just as they are.
There's no preparation or 'homework' required.
I'm just interested in learning more about the 'basics' when it comes to your everyday life, and what your feelings are about our country, whatever they may be.
Conversation can be free-wheeling, though my general focus areas are the economy, local community, where you find community/belonging, how you view our government, how you view our military, and what your own hopes and aspirations are the future for our nation.
Intent is to conduct the call over Zoom or Skype or phone, whichever you prefer. So you'd need a computer or phone and reliable internet access.
I'm looking to pay $25 per interview for this project, and hopefully be able to send payment using paypal, venmo, the cash app, or wire transfer.
Happy to send the money before the call in good faith so you know this is a real thing, and I'm just interested to learn more about what we're doing right as a country, and what we could be doing better.
If this interests you, please email the address on this ad, and share a little bit about yourself, your own story, and why this sounds intriguing.
My funding for this project is limited, so, I won't keep the ad up for too long if I get lots of replies.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Mike
