Description
It is with a heavy heart we are needing to rehome our 10 month old doberman. We have made it through the puppy stage of the chewing and biting and potty training to finally accept she isnt a good fit for our home. she is loyal, she loves being around us and enjoys a occasional ride in the car. she is good with kids, but proably not fragile kids. she can be rough at times, nothing mean, just bumping into them, playing and accidentally scraches them. Sadly she also kills chickens and chases cattle. She has been given several second chances, possibly too many. She has a big yard at our house and gets lots of exercise. She needs lots of exercise! She does well on a leash but does need a strong grip on the leash if she smells something of interest she thinks she needs to investigate. she knows basic commands of sit, shake, lay down, but dosent listen to them or anyone when chaising cattle. she is very smart, very fast, slightly head strong, curious and full of entery. we also live by a highway and keep her in the back yard because she cant be trusted not to chase a bird, rabbit, butterfly....etc into the road. she also gets along well with other dogs, with that being said not fragile dogs, she doesnt always know her own stength. She needs a home with possibly other dogs or people that can give her time and exercise. she is up to date on all her shots. rehomeing fee to ensure good home.
