Border Construction is currently looking for a Construction Laborer to add to our team. At Border Construction, we offer full benefits along with competitive wages and paid holidays. Job Duties – Perform general clean up on construction sites – Demo interior finishes – Help carpenters & superintendents perform construction tasks – Follow all safety policies & procedures of the company – Ability to operate a variety of power tools Qualifications and/or Experience – High school diploma or GED preferred – 2+ years’ experience in the construction industry – Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – Willing to work overtime if required to meet project deadlines – Willing to work year-round on inside & outside projects – Have current driver’s license – Demonstrates flexibility and open-mindedness – Have a problem solving mentality – Strong work ethic – Ability to read a tape measure – Positive & energetic attitude – Represent self and company in a positive and professional manner Physical Requirements – Ability to climb stairs and ladders – Physically be able to lift 50+ pounds – Ability to stand & walk for long-periods of time Job Type: Full-time *To apply for this position, please respond to this ad or visit our website at www.borderconstruction.net/careers
