Shop Laborer

We are looking for help in our trailer repair shop. Duties include: • Trailering equipment, ability to back up a trailer • Able to effectively tie down loads on trailers to ensure everything is secured • Basic mechanical skills • Ability to work with hand tools • Ability to talk to customers • Operate a forklift • Make deliveries to customers • Provide excellent customer service • Pick up supplies, equipment from Vendors Requirements: • Clean driving record • Flexible hours • Able to work some Saturdays • Heavy lifting – 50 – 100 lbs. • Work requires bending, lifting and reaching • Willing to learn new things • Able to multi-task • Positive attitude • Good organizational skills and time management skills • Emphasis on quality and attention to detail • Able to stand for the duration of the shift This job is full time during the boating season - work from March/April to end of year and return again in early spring. Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00, Saturdays 8:00 – 12:00 Starting wage: $13-15/hour, based on experience Location: Fitchburg/South Madison area
