I was flipping through the late shows last night when I saw G.W. Bush was going to be on Jimmy Kimmel, and decided to watch. A decision I now regret. We all know it was reported after Bush left the White House in 2009 after increasing your National Debt 104% and leaving behind a huge failed Police Action in Afghanistan, he took up painting.
Bush' portraits are not all that good, but I'm glad he took up a hobby. In 2001 the Taliban barely controlled 25% of Afghanistan, due to the Bush Administration, when he left office they fully controlled 50% of the country.
What amazed me about the interview is Kimmel is usually a rabid anti republican, but last night he kissed Bush butt. Of course Bush and Michelle Obama are BFF's.
It drives me nuts how politicians can get elected year after year, then retire with a nice pension and the best health care possible, after they have left our country worse off than before they were elected. Any one remember Rep Bohner from Ohio, he was a hard core War on Drugs lock em up and throw away the key politician. In the 1990's he worked hard with a Senator Biden to put more low level non violent marihuana consumers in prison to the point that we had more people in prison than China did at the time. Keep in mind China had 3 times more people than we did at the time.
What is it with you people and your celebrity obsession with politicians that $crew us all over? I have noticed when people talk about Term Limits, they always have the "other" party in mind. I heard someone saying dinosaur incumbents like Mitch McConnell are why we need term limits. I asked them about Nancy Pelosi, and they said she is doing a good job. People in Kentucky seem to like always ranking in the bottom 5 of states for just about every thing, and people in California are starting to realize Democrats are not the answer, but Republicans maybe worse.
