Pep Boys is looking for qualified individuals to join our team. We are accepting applications for the following position: * Master Technician (experience required) * Mechanic (experience required) * General Service Technician (no experience required) Job Responsibilities / Tasks Include • Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems. • Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions. • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services. • Repair, replace, and adjust brakes. • Check and adjust vehicle-wheel alignment. • Inspect and perform repairs on steering and suspension/chassis components. • Install, mount, and balance tires. • Repair and service air conditioning, heating, engine-cooling, and electrical systems. • Confer with customers to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements. • Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications. • Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors. - ASE Certifications are desirable, and are required for certain positions ***Do not let this stop you from applying!
