Recording Speech for University Study

We’re looking for a diverse set of individuals who are willing to record their voices for a university study, including Mexican Americans from Los Angeles, CA. If you are interested, please register through this short questionnaire: Participants selected from the initial registration will be contacted for a brief pre-screening phone call. They will be compensated $5 for leaving a voicemail at a provided number. Participants selected from the pre-screening will be asked to participate in the study. This will entail recording a list of several hundred spoken words and sentences. Participation in this stage will be compensated with $50. Participants must have access to a smart phone, a stable internet connection, a quiet place to record, and be comfortable following instructions to upload sound files to a website.
