I’m a drummer looking for other dependable and proficient musicians to play jazz, soul, funk, latin, and groove inspired music. The goal would be to form a group and play gigs regularly. I’m interested in working on tunes, creating new arrangements, and contributing to originals. I have nice gear and solid transportation but no place to play. Would be open to renting a rehearsal space or coming to you if you have a room. Influenced by Robert Glasper, Terrace Martin, R+R=NOW, Yussef Dayes, The Headhunters, Billy Cobham, War, Santana, soul jazz and fusion from the late 60s and early 70s and standards from the bebop / hard bop era.
