Attach your resume OR a few sentences about yourself and contact information.*** Position: Tour Driver/Party Host - Patchogue, NY Company Info: "Pedal Party Long Island" PEDALPARTYLONGISLAND.COM Facebook.com/PEDALPARTYLI Job Type: Seasonal Part-time or Full-time (April-October) Pay: $17.50 per hour plus $20-$60 tips/tour Job Description: Pedal Party Long Island opens next month and is seeking three-six party host/drivers to take the reins of our four-six passenger unique circular party bikes. Each tour is one-two and a half hours long and customers will get to experience the unique pedaling experience along with supporting one-three local pubs and eateries along their tour. Our party bike is a 6'x8' circular party bike with pedaling stations for all six passengers and the driver is solely responsible for the steering. Customers will pedal in their seats while grabbing onto the circular handle bars in the middle of the bike to power the party bike along its journey. The driver will have two sources for braking, a foot brake and a hand brake. Pedal Party Host/Driver responsibilities include: -Arriving at our site a half hour before the start of a tour to prep the bike and move it to the pickup location for guests. -Greeting guests, answering questions, taking group photos, promoting our tour stops’ featured items, and up-selling our photo packages. -Providing a fun yet safe environment for the up to six passengers on board during the one-two and a half hour tours. Explaining safety rules, ensuring guests are comfortable while riding, and administering first aid if needed. -Communicating with manager issues arising from operations or required maintenance on the party bike. -After the tour, cleaning and disinfecting the party bike and helping maintain the facilities. Pedal Party Hosts/Drivers will be paid $17.50/hr plus tips (Tips are expected to be between $20-$60 per tour on average).
