We are set to open next month and are seeking 2-3 master captains to take the helm of our 26 passenger tour boat. Each tour is about two hours long and customers bring food and drinks from local businesses aboard to enjoy while they pedal, sing, and dance. “Paddle Pub” will frequently make a stop along its journey from Dublin Deck, visiting either the Harbor Crab or Island View. Our vessel is a 35'x10' USCG certified pontoon vessel with a paddle wheel in the back. Customers on board pedal in their seats to power the paddle wheel which helps power the motor. The main source of power is a 90HP engine which the captain uses to power and steer the boat. Paddle Pub Captain responsibilities include: Arriving at our marina before the start of the tour to prep the vessel. Providing a fun and safe environment for the up to 26 passengers on board during the two hour tours. Communicating with management issues arising from operations or required maintenance on the vessel. After the tour, assisting the first mate with cleaning the vessel and maintaining the slip facilities. Pay: Captains will be paid $50/tour plus tips (Tips for captain are $35/tour on avg.) plus hourly pay for setup and cleaning. You must have a Master Captain's certification to operate the Paddle Pub.
