One men’s take on immigration.

Description

I view myself as a human first and an American patriot second. I consider the needs of fellow humans above and beyond my selfishness as an American. If a person is in genuine need, I feel compelled to help. Borders are arbitrary lines drawn on paper. Who am to who can and who cannot enter this nation? Do i worry about huge numbers of immigrants showing up in america? Sure. But I am more bothered by allowing humans to suffer. I am a human above being a patriot. No god, no religion would want any of us to turn our back on people in need. It does not feel right to do so.
