Hello, I’m a singer/songwriter/guitarist with improv abilities. I’m looking for someone interested in playing shows every other month so. I have full sound system. I don’t have a ton of time, but I’m looking for someone that enjoys uptempo, rhythmic music. I want to create an old blues sound and bring in a jazz/funk feel to existing americana songs. Not looking for conventional rock beats. Really want a rhythmic player that enjoys coming up with creative beats. I’m currently playing in an uptempo Americana group that has some rockabilly, blues, folk vibes. (www.Timeandmaterialsmusic.com). Would be interested in adapting some of these songs but i want them to be more drummer friendly. I want to book shows soon. Looking for someone that doesnt mind practicing a couple times then jumping into a show. I can pay $100 for an unpaid show, but when its a paid gig, we can negotiate percentage. oh, and I am 40 years of age with busy family life, living in Santa Rosa. well rooted in the community. hope to get something started soon.
