Description

We are a small company which specializes in tropical plants and flowers. We do projects of many sizes and types from container plants to green walls to botanic art. Our work sites range throughout Chicagoland and include exterior landscaping, atriums, restaurants, hotels, and office interiors. This position is for Driver/Installer, and training will be provided. Your core responsibilities will include: *Driving our 12' box truck and transit van *Performing plant replacements & deliveries *Routing deliveries and following paperwork *Working on-site with install team This is a full-time position, though part-time positions may be considered. The hours are 7am-3pm. A good driving record is required. This is a full-time position, though part-time positions may be considered. Pay will start at $15 hourly with opportunity to advance and pathway to management for the right candidate. Experience driving a larger vehicle, routing, landscaping, or any horticultural interest is a plus. This job requires communication, professionalism, reliability, and teamwork - you will be working with a partner for most tasks. The work is often physical when not driving; it requires moving and being on your feet. There is lifting and bending involved. You must be able to lift 50 lbs. Site work will be as needed and encompasses exterior landscaping, holiday decorating, special installs and more. Though you will have a steady schedule, this is a job where each day is different than the last. We do not require weekend or evening work.
