Full or Part-time W2 employment available Techno Rescue will be holding open tryout to hire new employees next week Monday through Friday, 4/16-4/30/21, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Daily responsibilities may include: • Sorting electronics and parts • Disassembling electronics • Cleaning and organizing • Receiving and distribution • Work on-site and off-site, as needed • E-Cycling weekend events (some voluntary, some mandatory) Knowledge: • Basic understanding of electronic devices • Warehouse safety practices and use of safety equipment Abilities: • Ability to stand 8 or more hours per day • Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently, and 100 pounds occasionally • Ability to work indoors or outdoors • Ability to work varying weather conditions • Ability to work with diverse populations • Ability to pass 7-year background check • Ability to pass drug screening (exclusive of marijuana) Preferred Qualifications (these items will not prevent selection for hire): • Forklift experience (current or past) • Driver's license (for equipment pickups from clients in company vehicle) • Open availability (particularly mandatory Saturday events) • Understanding of safe e-waste handling and disposal (R2 or eStewards specifically) Up to 10 slots per day.
