Looking to hire a Commercial Flooring Assistant, with or without experience - we are WILLING TO TRAIN. Please note this job is NIGHTS, from Sunday PM through Thurs PM (Fri & Sat OFF), and will be part time to full time depending upon ongoing projects at any given time. This is a laborer position and candidates must be able to lift 75 pounds. Must be able to show up on time, come ready to work and take direction. If you are local to Winter Haven area, transportation may be provided to and from job sites. Pay will be dependent upon experience to start (though we always pay above minimum wage, regardless of experience level). We also offer opportunity for pay increases based upon performance - if you are a good worker, you will be compensated fairly. References and background check will be required. Responsibilities: - Floor demo & prep for install - Lay glue - Mix patch - Lay vinyl composite tile (VCT) - Lay vinyl plank - Wax floors - Clean-up - Heavy lifting Must be able to: - Standing, bending, stooping, lifting, reaching and twisting repetitively. - Be able to lift up to 75 pounds. - Be on your feet and knees throughout entire shift. Good opportunity to learn a trade from a skilled flooring installer with over 30 years experience in the industry (carpet; carpet tile; vinyl composite tile (vct); vinyl plank; sheet vinyl; laminate).
