Marathon Fitness is Texas' largest supplier of health club related equipment representing brands such as PRECOR, Escape Fitness, and Spinning which are found in all of Texas' premier Clubs, YMCA's, Corporations, Hotels and Universities. Products include treadmills, elliptical crosstrainers, bikes, and weight training equipment. Due to ongoing growth and the development of hot new computing technology in our industry, we are expanding in the DFW to meet demand. Service and Installation Tech: An experienced technician to help with growing installation and service in the greater DFW area. No prior fitness products experience is necessary however at least a minimum of 4 years of solid work history (or military service a big plus) and previous on the job mechanical skills. Hands on electrical experience helpful but not essential. Previous experience in electronics, automotive, HVAC or a mechanical position is an acceptable form of experience. Company sponsored training consists of field class, on the job and factory certified training programs in mechanics, computing driven solutions, and electronics. Pay: Subject to qualifications of candidate ranging from $17.50-$19.50 per hour depending upon experience, plus company sponsored health insurance, 401K matching retirement, and paid sick and vacation days. Seasonal nature of work creates a lot of overtime pay (15+ hours a week OT). Company vehicle and tools provided. Great work environment with very large customer base.
