I have a one year old newfoundland Pyrenees mix to a good FARM home only. You MUST have sufficient amount of fenced property for him. He’s a great protector, and a good family watch dog. I am having to rehome him, because my neighbor won’t allow our fencing to stay up in my yard, and letting him out on a chain is not a nice life for him. He IS timid around strangers, but will protect his family for anything. He is a gentle giant with his own family It’s unfortunate that my neighbors have called animal control and chewed us out on a daily Basis when they are the ones that caused this to begin with. Though he does bark and is apprehensive of strangers, He is great around all children when indoors, though he can sometimes get hyper and knock small children down. I will only rehome him to someone who owns their own home and property.
