FREE, FREE, FREE! "MUTT" GUPPIES 🐳 & MYSTERY SNAILS 🐌 ------------------ I have a random assortment of happy little "mutt" guppies, and mystery snails. 🐳 The guppies are a mix of regular guppies and smaller endlers guppies. I have a nice array of different patterns, with males giving the best show, as is usual for guppies. I can choose out the sexes you prefer, in case you don't want them to breed. Unfortunately, females may have bred before you get them, so no guarantees on that. Guppies breed easily, so be forewarned. All of my fish are fed a wide assortment of foods, so they are very well nourished, and probably a bit spoiled. They will eat most any flaked food just fine, though I still recommend an assortment for best health. I can't assure you of their ages, and I can guess their ages by size only. Guppies are not long-lived, with an average lifespan of 2 to 3 years. They reproduce easily, so you can enjoy them for many generations! Kids really love it when a new batch of teeny babies appear🤱. (I do, too!) 🐌 Mystery snails are easy-care, peaceful, and soooooo interesting to watch as they slowly ooze along the glass. (Note: snails do eat algae, but they will NOT cure or control an algae problem in an aquarium.) They live for a little over one year, but some online sources (ridiculously) claim they live up to 3 years. Not true 😑. Their shells can get up to the size of a ping pong ball. You can even save their shells after they "pass on" to remind you of their happy life spent entertaining your family. This type of snail is plant safe, only nibbling on the dead parts. They do NOT eat any type of live fish or shrimp, no matter how small. You may see them on a dead fish because they are part of nature's clean-up crew. They live off of algae, algae wafers, blanched veggies, and whatever food falls to the bottom of the tank. ❗They do need extra calcium because Portland water is too low in minerals. Adding a cuttlebone and some calcium enriched food is necessary for best shell growth. Otherwise, these critters are easy-keepers. These are not "pest" snails! If a female does produce a "clutch" (an egg cluster), it is easily seen and removed. These critters will NOT overrun an aquarium like those other snails we fear😬! As for snail color choices, I have solid gold, jade and stripey chestnut. The "foot" part comes in either white or black. These can be kept in almost any size tank. They are happy even as a singleton in a nano tank, as long as the water is maintained. Children love watching them! They could be a great source for home schoolers to teach about science subjects. I do safe porch pick-ups, with masks, of course😷. Thank you! Kelly 🛑 Please! Texts are best for me. I don't answer unknown calls due to phone scammers.
