*Seeking new home ASAP.* We've had Bear for the past year. He is an absolutely amazing dog but due to his having high anxiety, he has occasionally nipped at strangers and other dogs if he feels threatened. This makes introductions during potential rehoming interviews challenging. We really want to find someone willing to work with him as we don't have enough experience. We do not want him to go to the shelter. About Bear: He is an incredibly sweet, smart and energetic 6 y.o. Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix. He's only 12lbs. He can be a lap dog as much as he can be active enough to take hiking, running, etc. Bear does well in the car and can walk on and off leash. He knows his manners, is housebroken and neutered. He understands the basics: sit, spin, stay, lay down, eat, stop it, leave it, quiet, car, walk, toy. His records are current (Banfield) and he's licensed in Washington County. Bear has no known health or dietary issues and is kennel trained. He will come bathed with his bed, blanket, toys, a week's worth of food, food and water bowls, Martingale collar, harness, leash, ThunderShirt, and kennel.
