Rocky is an 8 year old yorkie terrier mix that is in need of a forever home. He’s very sweet and loving, he loves people and attention and is a great companion to have around. He was rehomed a couple of months ago due to family moving and getting a newborn child. The next family didn’t have dog experience and was too overwhelmed with having to take care of a dog. Currently he’s staying with a foster family but they can’t keep him unfortunately. Overall, Rocky is healthy and active for his age. He had some blood work done within last 2 months that looks good but just within last few weeks he developed some kind of growth on the side of his mouth that needs to be looked at by a vet. Rocky is a kind and well-tempered dog that deserves an amazing home to call his own. He does well with cats and possibly with small dog breeds. He likes children. We are looking for a home that has a dog (preferably this type of breed) experience, who’s home a lot (all Rocky wants is to be next to you) and who’d be willing to take care of Rocky. If you decide to move along with adopting (you're welcome to do a meet & greet) you will be asked to fill out an application, provide vet reference, and possibly a house visit to ensure the best possible home for Rocky. Rehoming fee is $100 to cover his recent bloodwork/deworming/flee treatment. You will be provided all of the vet records for the last few years.
