Small Organic Farm Worker, Part to Full Time

Lost Lake Farm is hiring! We are looking for one more energetic and motivated person to join our team this season, from May – September/October. You will work Monday, Wednesday, Friday, approximately 25-30 hours/week, with additional hours/days possible if desired. This position could transition to part-time winter work if desired. We grow 1.5 acres of vegetables following Organic methods, and raise pigs on pasture. Your job will focus on our vegetable operation, with an emphasis on harvest, wash/pack, weeding, and planting. Must be able to work outside in all weather; stand, kneel, or crouch for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently. We take great pride in the quality, freshness, beauty and taste of our produce, and you will help us bring the best products to our customers. Previous farm experience is a plus, but a good attitude and work ethic is much more important! We are willing to train on the job. Starting pay $11-13/hour DOE with the opportunity for a raise after a 2 week trial period, and compensation also includes fresh produce from the farm.
