Your Day in the Life as a Control Panel Builder Your day-to-day includes working with our Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure AeroSpec’s ISO certified quality is upheld while making schedule. You’ll perform layouts of control back panels, mount components and performing point-to-point wiring based standard electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints. Throughout the day, you will troubleshoot, test, and inspect finished panels to UL 508a standards. A portion of this role will include installing and wiring control panels into automated production machines. In addition, you may occasionally install or service equipment in the field. Job Qualifications • Technical Degree or equivalent • 2+ years’ experience with wiring of control panels, automotive systems, or commercial facilities • Knowledge of electrical controls components • Understanding of basic electrical theory and electrical schematics and diagrams • Ability to perform basic electrical testing and troubleshooting • Excellent standards for craftsmanship • Familiar with specialized tools used in control panel construction • Experience in machine wiring and integration a plus • Background in field support a plus
