Professional, safe drivers wanted to deliver packages across South Jersey. Package weights varying from 1lb to 150lbs. Delivery area: select clusters of neighborhoods across South Jersey region. No CDL Required; WE PROVIDE THE VEHICLES! Great money can be earned by hard workers, as much as $1,500 per week! Start time: 9-10am during training, as early as 6am after training & probationary period Finish time: whenever your last package is delivered Driver Requirements (NO EXCEPTIONS): · You must have a valid driver's license · You must be 21 years or older (NO EXCEPTIONS) · You must successfully pass a criminal background check. · You must have minimal moving violations and accidents within the past 5 years on your motor vehicle report · 1 year of verifiable professional driving experience within the past 3 years, or 5 years of verifiable professional driving experience within the past 10 years. (FedEx will use a third party company, First Advantage to complete this step) OR be willing to complete our online school (no cost to you, at the convenience of your home on your own time). · Successfully pass a drug test (FedEx provides the test at a local medical office). · Successfully pass a doctor provided physical (FedEx provides the exam at a local medical office). Job Description You will be delivering packages in predetermined areas throughout South Jersey dispatching from FedEx’s terminals in Barrington NJ. THIS IS A VERY PHYSICALLY DEMANDING JOB You MUST have: Ability to stand for long periods of time, drive, and lift packages WEIGHING UP TO 125-150 LBS Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs with heavy packages.
