I will not put up with any of that amateur hour bullshit. I am prominded, I show up prepared, knowing my parts and the songs and I Like to have fun, with the band and audience during a live performance. BUT - I keep my opinions and myself to myself. I am a loner and like it that way. I can follow/ take direction, or learn or create parts Americana, folk, country rock, Rock, dance music. 40 yrs experience accompaniment, lead / slide guitar,, acoustic or electric music, volume conscious (Nothing worse than some clueless peep, playing too loud, walking all over the mix) 8 String Lap Steel and a bit of piano, bckg. Vox. Familiar with cheat sheets, charts & the Nashville number system. Seeking a wrkg band, of talented but humble folks. SOME Influences, likes/loves- The night sky, sunrise, Buddhism, Love, kindness, Nature, Govindas on 1st Ave. musically -the sound of a Hammond B3 organ, (eargasm) also the cello, the viola & the violin.........interested in creating orchestral parts on the side....even if no one ever hears 'em Artits/Bands- David Bowie, Mick Ronson, mick Ralph's, Mott the Hoople, lou Reed, Ben Harper, David Lindley, Don Helms, Neil young, Garth, Willie Nelson, Hank SR., Merle, Allman Brothers Band, the sex pistols.
