Part-Time Service PorterSummaryThe entry level Service Porter helps improve efficiency in the service drive and in the service shop by providing support to the advisors and the management team. The position involves valeting customer vehicles from the service drive to a designated parking area, completing minor mechanical repair diagnostics, and organizing our inventory of company – owned rental vehicles.Core ResponsibilitiesThe position may be required to:Greeting customers with a “warm” greeting when they arrive in the service driveProviding each vehicle with protective floor and seat coveringCommunicating with Roush teammates and valeting the vehicle to a designated parking areaComplete tire pressure checks, battery tests, check / fill fluids (when needed), replace windshield wiper inserts, and replace light bulbsComplete routine cleaning in the service drive and the service shopComplete car washes on customer and company – owned vehiclesAdditional requirements may be:Complete Pick – up / drop – off customer vehiclesComplete parts inventory purchases at local dealershipsTransfer inventoryParticipate in deep clean projects with our maintenance teamMust have a valid driver’s license with less than 4 points and no history of reckless driving.
