Position Summary:
This position reports to the assistant manager or manager. This position is responsible for keeping the store clean, to fill additive jugs and carrying purchases to the car for customers. May be trained to perform water testing.
Position Qualifications/requirements:
HS Diploma preferred. Previous retail and/or pool supply experience preferred. Will train. Excellent customer service skills required. Must be available to work weekends.
Essential Functions of the position:
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Fill pool additive jugs.
Carry purchases to the customers car.
Ensure store is clean at all times; straighten shelves, dust shelves, keep furniture, displays and counter area clean.
Mop floors daily.
Breakdown cardboard boxes.
Dump trash.
Perform water testing, as needed and trained.
Any other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements of position:
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must meet be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. The position requires constant walking, bending and lifting. Must be able to interact with customers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
