✔️Position: Maintenance / Facilities person 🏢Location: Mira Loma 💲Pay Rate: DOE ⏰Shift: 1st shift 💡Job Responsibilities Include: • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to any equipment or building infrastructure. • Work with internal departments on the completion of special projects and facilities upgrades. • Schedule any repairs and recommend improvements to the management team. • Perform routine inspections, ensuring the building is up to California state code. • Establish best practices for building safety, security and maintenance. • Perform routine and preventative maintenance and ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate. • Following a checklist, inspect drives, motors and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions while keeping accurate records of work. • Troubleshooting and fixing electrical switches, unclogging drains, repair conveyor systems, forklifts and swing-reach equipment. • Inventory and order supplies and repair parts as needed. • Build partitions, make plaster or drywall repairs, fix or paint roofs, windows, doors, woodwork, and other parts of building structures. • Other duties as assigned. 🔍Job Qualifications Include: • At least 1 year of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in a corporate setting • Strong experience in commercial and/or industrial building repairs, maintenance, and renovation • Basic experience in the Mechanical Trades and the basic experience working in the following areas: fork lifts, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water and sewer systems, hydraulics, reading plans and drawings, building construction and painting. • Must be able to estimate materials needed. • Required to read, write and speak the English language. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks while working autonomously • Must be able to follow oral and written directions. ❗Training: Forklift Certification Training. ⚙️Special Tools / Equipment: All hand tools and power tools associated with maintenance and repair of conveyor systems, HVAC systems, electrical and electronic equipment and plumbing. 💪Physical Demands: Must be able to push/pull/lift/carry 100lbs.
