Experienced contractor looking for a part time / full time assistant. The ideal candidate is someone who has basic construction experience and is looking to learn the ins and outs of the trades. Hourly is negotiable depending on experience ($15 /hour +) Typical job duties include: - Set up and clean up of job site - Using various hand tools such as grinder, nail gun, impact driver - Priming and painting - Installing windows / doors - Digging trenches and holes for posts, fences, etc. - Lifting objects between 50 - 100lbs on occasion - Building fences and gates - Assisting contractor whenever necessary Eventually you will be able to grow with the company and begin running your own job sites. In time, this opportunity will teach you how to weld, how to fabricate, how to quote jobs, and how to be competent with many tools you’d find on a job site.
