Attention musicians: My name is Kal and I’m in the process of starting a rock band. I just built a state of the art recording / rehearsal studio in Chino California and I’m looking for musicians who are interested in being a part of a start-up band. I am a rhythm guitarist/vocalist and I’ve been writing music my entire life. My influences for this project include bands starting with The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eagles, and James Taylor along with Aerosmith, Collective Soul, Staind, Stonesour, among others. If you’re serious about music and are interested in becoming a founding member of the band please reach out and tell me a little about yourself. Please include all relevant musical experience, previous bands you’ve played in, records or CDs you’ve played on (with links to stream if possible), and any Youtube or social media videos of you playing your instrument. As I mentioned earlier, I have a new studio with a Midas M32 digital mixing and recording console, Pro Tools recording rig, three-camera video package and editing bay, and much more. My goal is to start generating video content for a youtube channel right away, documenting the entire band process from inception to the finished product, including the entire audition process -- so be prepared to be on camera! A few nuts and bolts: this isn’t a paid gig for a studio musician - this is an opportunity to be a part of something special. Once we get off the ground and start playing shows I expect us all to start seeing some money, but for now it’s a passion project. Don’t sign up if you don’t absolutely live and breathe music, and enjoy spending your free time hanging out writing and playing with like minded individuals. Also note - I live a drug free lifestyle and want my bandmates to do the same. Alcohol and weed is ok but if you’re into harder stuff then this won’t be a good fit for either of us. I’m going on sixty years old and have lived a hell of a life - I’ve done plenty of partying and I am not looking to relive the glory days. I do want to make some good friends that are on a similar vibe, and I do want this to be a fun experience. If this sounds like something you’re interested in, reach out let’s see if we gel.
