04/21/2021 Full-time, Overtime & Bonus Available. *** Please add work history when responding to the ad*** $15-$16 per hour Shift 12:30PM to 9:00PM Primary Responsibilities -Washdown and sanitize food production equipment and facility. Assist with other cleaning duties like trash removal, floor cleaning and other basic sanitation duties. -Check the work schedule each day, receive cleaning assignments, obtain supplies required to perform the work, put on all of the required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear and prepare for operations. -Prepare machinery for cleaning, remove materials from the machines and floors and place in the proper containers. -Remove barrels, totes and other containers from the machine area, close valves, open doors, lids, drains and water valves. -Breakdown, disassemble and/or loosen nuts, screws, belts, remove machine parts, conveyors, guard rails, lids, doors and guards. -Rinse down the production equipment, conveyors and machinery with the water hoses and pressure washers. -Scrape material from the machine parts, shovel excess into totes and soak parts as needed. -Discards soiled food or other trash in the appropriate trash containers. -Obtain and apply the appropriate cleaning and sanitizing solution, apply to the surfaces, scrub surfaces and parts. -Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, trays and related areas and surfaces using pressurized water and chemicals according to U.S.D.A. regulations. -Dry tools, equipment, machines, walls, floors and re-assemble machinery as required. -At end of shift, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping duties. Key Qualifications -Must have 1-year experience in food facility sanitation. -Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform the job. -Must follow all company procedures, processes, sanitation and safety requirements. -Must be able to move, stack or relocate troughs, bins, trays and other containers and equipment as necessary. -Must be able to perform all job functions safely. -Must meet the company standards for the job. -Must be able to follow instructions. -Must be able to work the scheduled /assigned times and required overtime for the position. -Must be able to stand and walk for extended period of time. -Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
